Amazing 1BR flat in the city centre (West 8)

The rating does not correspond to amenities provided and cleanliness. Positive: - Location. Great location close to transport and by foot to central parts of town. - Easy check-in. Good system to allow self-checkin. - It was expensive but relatively to other places in Zurich it was good. Negative: This simply cannot be considered a 9+ place and I believe the high rating is because the company renting the flat (it is not a private owner) asks people to leave 10 and not even a 9… 1. It is not that clean. It is acceptable but there were pieces of bread on the carpets. It seems they only mop the floor but don’t vacuum. The balcony is dirty so is pretty much every corner in the flat. Not sure how people can give 10 for the cleaning here. Does not make sense. 2. We had an accident where after checkin time someone unlocked the door came in and scared my child while I was in the bathroom. When I asked for explanation in 20 minutes I was given 3 different theories that it was the cleaner, later it was someone checking on the cleaner… They did not apologise properly and left us wondering how many people have keys and access to the apartment. 3. Dimi the supposed owner it seems is not a real person. The flat is actually rented out by a company renting 100+ flats so I guess this is why they did not care about our issue. You are just a number for them. 4. It is laughable for a booking listing to be given 9.7 rating when they do not even provide a single coffee for example. They provide a coffee machine that only works with specific capsules but dont provide any. Everyone has stayed in places where walk in and have everything. Here you walk in and there is nothing except dishwasher tablets. 5. Checkout is at 10am while checkin is at 3pm. Checkout should be at least at 11. 6. They asked us to leave them a 10 rating and not even a 9 even after we were not happy with some random person unlocking the door while we are in? BTW you cannot lock the door from inside in a way that will prevent people unlocking from outside. 7. I think the current high rating is due to the host company pushing people to give them a 10 and not due to the cleanliness, amenities, etc 8.

Sehr schicke, geräumige Wohnung in super Lage, um schnell (auch fußläufig) ins Zentrum zu gelangen. Positive: Der Check In war auch spät abends problemlos per Schlüsselbox möglich. Das Schlafsofa war auf Anfrage bereits bezogen. Die Wohnung ist super schick, mit einem sehr schönen Esstisch und sehr geräumig. Die Küche bietet neben Ofen und Spülmaschine sogar einen großen Gefrierschrank. Negative: Im Badezimmer wäre eine Ablagemöglichkeit für den Kulturbeutel gut gewesen; aber das ging zur Not auch auf der Waschmaschine :)

Positive: Las instalaciones son hermosas y muy limpio. Negative: No había jabón, ni shampoo.

Tolle Wohnung für kurze und lange Aufenthalte in Zürich Positive: Die Kommunikation mit Dimi war zu jedem Zeitpunkt gut und zuvorkommend. Jede meiner Fragen wurde beantwortet. Die Wohnung hat eine tolle Lage (viele schöne Läden, Cafés und Restaurants), eine schnelle Anbindung in die Innenstadt und durch den Bahnhof Wiedikon auch zum Flughafen Zürich. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist super, alles ist ausreichend genug vorhanden, die Wohnung ist sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch das Schlafsofa ist gemütlich und sehr groß. Der Check in war easy mit einer Schlüsselbox. Ich kann jedem einen Aufenthalt in diesem Apartment empfehlen! Negative: -
